Ho...Yes, everyone is entitled to their own opinion. However there is a differece between free speech and hate speech. When you're an elected public official, there is a certain level of responsibility that comes with your speech.RookieRuggerLSUhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15899402394477526677noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-511571013543611032.post-59667567554944776662009-02-22T16:22:00.000-06:002009-02-22T16:22:00.000-06:00I have to say I disagree with his punishment. Now ...I have to say I disagree with his punishment. Now I'm not saying I agree with what he said or did. but doesn't he have the right to say what he thinks? He was voicing HIS opinion, and because not everyone liked what he had to say, he gets punished. what happened to freedom of speech?

Everyday Gays and Bis are expressing their opinions of having the same rights, which I do believe they should have. But I know a vast majority don't believe the same, but nowadays they're to afraid to open their mouths and speak their opinion for fear of being reprimanded. And it's not just in politics, it's everywhere, If someone says something that the vast minority doesn't agree with, they get punished.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
