Award Time!

I am sure by now Y'all have noticed that John at Gay Dads In Munchkinland gave me an award this week. Part of the award is to pass it on to one or more bloggers whose blog I think is brilliant. So, this is my turn to do so.

Let me just say that if anyone thought my whining about not having gotten an award was me being serious, you haven't been reading my blog that long. It really just me attempting to be funny. Also, I think it is important for me to point out that we don't do this for awards or recognition. Yes, it does feel good to know that someone thinks that what we write is great, but we do this for many other reasons that have nothing to do with awards. Personally, this is therapy for me.

Ok. Now on to the award.

"This award is bestowed upon a fellow blogger whose blogs content or design is, in the giver's opinion, brilliant."

For those whom I am passing this onto, you are asked to tell your readers 10 honest statements about yourself. This way, your readers get to know a little more about you - whether they want to or not! As for the badge, just save the badge from here in this message and display on your blog (if you want to - no one is forcing you!).

To be honest, I think all the blogs I read are brilliant. I did choose a couple though. Please feel free to check their blogs out. You won't be disappointed!

JewJewBee is someone I went to high school with and recently reconnected through Facebook. Her blog takes her readers into her life as a Tween librarian and tells us about the funny things that her son Boogie comes up with. You will fall in love with Boogie for sure!

John is one first bloggers who I became a fan of. He was also the first person to come to me and ask my permission to put my blog on his and that made me feel pretty darn good. His blog follows his daily life in New England. Softball, theater, his husband and their dog are just some of the things he loves to write about.

Rebekah is my oldest and dearest friend. We met when we were just 5 years old and even though we lost touch after junior college, we have reconnected through Facebook and it's like we never lost each other. It has been awesome seeing the photos of her two children (one is just a newborn!) and her husband. You will ooh and ahh everyday when you read about their adventures in life!

There you have it! I know I am looking forward to hearing 10 things about them and I am sure y'all will enjoy it too. So go on and click their names to read their blogs. I'm sure you'll love their blogs as much as I do. Happy reading!
