Recently, First Lady Michelle Obama was photographed while feeding poor folks at a soup kitchen.

The faux pas? She was wearing $540 sneakers while doing it!

Is it really appropriate for her to wear something so extravagant given what she is doing? Given the current state of the economy, shouldn't the President and his family set a better example?

During their campaigning, they insisted they were just like the average American but this is yet another example of how out of touch Obama really is with us 'regular folk'.
